DANISH LEFT ADOPT ALT-RIGHT MIGRATION POLICY

In astounding news from Denmark, it now seems that mass immigration is creating Right-wing voters at a much faster rate than it is importing Left-wing ones. 

This was revealed by the new policy announced by the country's leading Left-wing party, the Social Democrat Party (SDP), who have now abandoned their past policy of importing voters from the Third World in favour of appealing to Danish voters not to swing Right by adopting a hard-line anti-immigration policy.

Presenting an ambitious plan to slash migration from non-Western nations, Denmark’s Social Democrats said the country lacks the capacity to integrate further flows of third world migrants.

The largest party in Denmark, where it is part of the left-wing opposition, the Social Democrats on Monday unveiled a 44-page migration policy document pledging “to introduce a cap on the number of non-Western foreigners who can [enter]”.

“We want to reform our asylum system, among other things, by setting up reception centres outside Europe, and in the future it will not be possible for refugees to obtain asylum in Denmark outside quotas set by the United Nations,” said Social Democrats head Mette Frederiksen.

Under the proposals, immigrants would no longer be able to turn up “spontaneously” at Denmark’s border or migrant centres to file asylum claims, and would instead be sent to a Danish-run reception centre in North Africa while their case is examined.

If granted asylum by authorities, the refugees would remain in the yet unspecified transit country and living under the protection of the UN’s refugee agency while Copenhagen pays to cover their living expenses.

Now, let's cut to the chase. This is exactly the same kind of asylum policy that leaders of the Alt-Right would advocate -- humane yet keeping the Third World hordes at arm's length by keeping them in or near their own countries of origin, instead of bringing them into Denmark to cause crime, social disruption, extreme problems for "women's rights," and financial chaos.

But why the U-turn? The SDP, like all Left-wing parties in Europe, is extremely Machiavellian, so this decision is being made for purely selfish party political reasons. The SDP has clearly calculated that for every impossible-to-assimilate Third World migrant they bring in, more than one Dane, who formerly voted Left for SJW, feminist, or other reasons, swings to the right. 

Add to this the fact that many Third World immigrants in Denmark can't even be bothered to show their gratitude to their Leftist benefactors by voting for them, not to mention the enormous financial cost that effectively prevents the Left appealing to voters by offering more state-run social services, and you will see that this pivot to what is basically an Alt-Right policy is basically a no-brainer for the SDP.

The Danish SDP is the first Leftist party in Europe to realise this truth: that mass immigration is now creating Right-wing voters faster than it imports Leftist voters. How many more of Europe's Left-wing parties will now reach this conclusion and follow their lead? The ones that don't will be annihilated at the polls.

COMPLACENT TURKS TAKE A TANKING IN SYRIA

As predicted here a few days ago, Turkey's military incursion into Syria is going badly because of problems with its German-supplied tanks. On Saturday (3rd) at least one tank was destroyed by Kurdish forces defending the Kurdish-controlled Afrin Pocket.

As reported by Kurdistan24:

The Turkish army on Saturday announced the killing of seven of its soldiers taking part in Ankara’s “Operation Olive Branch” offensive to dislodge US-backed Kurdish forces from the Afrin enclave in northwestern Syria.

“One of our tanks joining the operation in the northeast of Afrin was hit by PKK/KCK/PYD-YPG... elements. Five of our comrades in arms were martyred,” a statement by the Turkish General Staff said.

Giving joy to feminists was the fact that the tank appears to have been wiped out by a Kurdish woman:

"A video released by the YPG’s all-women branch, Women’s Protection Units (YPJ), showed a direct hit to the tank several miles away as a fighter who used an anti-tank missile could be heard celebrating."

This should be worrying for the Turks because it means the Kurds now have effective tank-killing weapons that can be operated by relatively unskilled military personnel. 

It seems that President Erdogan's boastful rhetoric about sweeping out the Kurds from Turkey's borders has ill prepared the Turkish military for what is an existential struggle for the Kurds in Syria.

TURKEY'S GERMAN-BUILT TANKS UNABLE TO SUPPORT REGIONAL AMBITIONS

Turkey's ambition to become a major power in the Middle East by expanding its zone of influence in Syria is under threat after an ISIS video revealed alarming weaknesses in its top battle tank, the Leopard II, which is now being deployed against Kurdish forces in Northern Syria.

Over a week ago, the Turks launched a major offensive -- Operation Olive Branch (LOL) -- against the Kurds, who have been armed by the US. But so far the Turks and their Arab allies have failed to capture more than a few tiny villages. 

One reason for this relative failure seems to be the shortcomings of the Leopard II tank. The Turkish army has 354 of the tanks, which were built by Germany for a cost of $6 million each and then sold on to Turkey for a cheaper price. These impressive-looking tanks are the reason why Turkey has a strong military reputation in the region. 

But it seems that this may be vastly overrated. As reported by the Daily Mail:

"A German-made tank, which Berlin once dubbed one of the best in the world, has had its shortcomings embarrassingly exposed on the battlefield in Syria. Photos from the Turkish military operation dubbed 'Euphrates Shield', which began in August 2016, show the charred remains of one of the Leopard 2 tanks which was reportedly blown up with mines. The images - taken from an ISIS video published in January 2017 - show the tank with its turret completely blown off. Other pictures from the same conflict show Leopard 2s standing idle in ditches and snow after being severely damaged."

Although it has a V12 twin-turbo engine, a armoured shell made from hardened steel and tungsten, and top speed of 42mph, the tank is clearly vulnerable to 4G warfare tactics, as ISIS has destroyed at least eight of them, using comparatively unsophisticated weapons. 

Leopard II tanks have now been seen in Syria, but, as this video shows, they are being used very cautiously for fear of losing more of them. 

The weakness of Turkey's armoured forces means that the Kurds and Turks are much more evenly matched than military analysts previously thought. As result it may be time for Turkish President Recep Erdogan to scale back his imperialistic rhetoric. On Friday (26th) he pledged to sweep Kurdish forces from the entire length of the border with Syria and capture the strategic town of Manbij:

"We will clear Manbij of terrorists," Erdogan told local leaders of the governing AK Party in Ankara. "No one should be disturbed by this because the real owners of Manbij are not these terrorists, they are our Arab brothers. From Manbij, we will continue our struggle up to the border with Iraq, until no terrorist is left."

These big words may be hard to carry out if Kurds can inflict the same losses on his tank forces that ISIS formerly did, which seems likely with their superior US-supplied weapons.

SUSPICIOUS DEATH OF "RUSSIA TODAY" FOUNDER

Mikhail Lesin, President Putin's former personal adviser on media affairs and the founder of Russia Today, was found dead in a Washington hotel room back in 2015. The cause of death given was a heart attack. 

But now the story has changed after an FBI report was released on Saturday (27th) that showed Lesin died as a result of blunt force injuries to his head. As the heavily redacted document puts it:

"Mr. Lesin died as a result of blunt force injuries to his head, with contributing causes being blunt force injuries of the neck, torso, upper extremities, and lower extremities, which were induced by falls, with acute ethanol intoxication."

There are two possibilities here, either Lesin got really, really drunk and then started breakdancing against the furniture,  battering himself to death in the process, or else it was a hit job. 

With regard to the second possibility, the fact that Lesin was a former Kremlin insider staying at a hotel in Washington  DC seems highly significant. Was Lesin in town to do a deal dishing dirt on his former boss? Such a possibility provides a clear motive for any hit man.

Russia Today really loved the Alt-Right when Obama was President.

Lesin served as Minister of Press and Mass Media from 1999 to 2004, then as a presidential media adviser from 2004 to 2009. It was during his time as Minister of Press and Mass Media that he oversaw the creation of Russia Today, the Russian state's overseas media arm, launched in 2005.

From 2013 to 2015 Lesin was chief executive officer at Garprom-Media, a position he is thought to have been forced out of. He then moved to Los Angeles, where his family had bought considerable properties, far in excess of his paid worth. 

The trajectory here is clear -- a high-powered Kremlin insider with plenty of secrets to sell, moving further and further away from his former boss. Not exactly the most healthy ingredients to mix in that final fatal cocktail, especially when the boss is Vladimir Putin.

Also, why is this coming out now? The FBI have been sitting on this for around two years. This wouldn't be anything to do with the fact that Putin is up for re-election this March? Nah, coincidences like that never happen, do they?

FRANCE - RACIAL CHAOS MELTDOWN CONTINUES

Not a rioter. Just a member of France's pissed off security services.

Many people -- even in the Alt-Right -- have expressed surprise at some of President Macron's recent "hard line" statements on migrants, but the fact is this is only because France is now in a state of "creeping chaos" caused by mass immigration and multiculturalism. 

This is putting special pressure on workers responsible for keeping France's basic infrastructure functioning, the only thing that ultimately separates a First World country from a Third World one.

The latest signs that France is now well on the way to collapsing into Third World status comes from the disastrous state of the Paris Metro, where drivers are now refusing to stop at certain stations because of the threat to life, and the chaos in the prison service, where violence from radicalised gangs of prisoners have forced prison wardens to go on strike. 

According to The Local, a trade union representing drivers, said that the number of attacks on travellers and staff is becoming "increasingly dramatic," with Black and Muslim gangs using Metro stations to trade drugs. The gang-related behaviour this creates is not only causing violence, such as stabbings, but is also increasing the chance of serious rail accidents. 

A union official Jean-Marc Judith commented:

"Between the brawls that occur on the platforms, which sometimes end up happening on the train or across the tracks, you could hit someone, or crush them."

One of the worst-hit stations ironically is Marx Dormoy, a metro station named after an extremist Left-wing minister who oppressed French nationalists in the 1930s.

The decision to avoid stopping at the most dangerous stations comes after Andy Brigitte, a 22-year-old Black man from Martinique, was stabbed to death at the Châtelet-Les Halles RER station, as witnesses stood by filming and posting pictures on social media. 

The police were unable to say how many likes and reshares on social media this content produced. French news magazine L'Obs reported that Brigitte, died "agonised on the ground ... while passengers, rather than help him, filmed his agony and posted images' on social media."

But even on the rare occasions when the gangs and thugs involved in these crimes can be successfully arrested and convicted by France's cucked justice system, the story doesn't end there, as demonstrated by the breakdown of order in the prison system. 

Prison gangs, empowered by politically correct regulations that hamstring prison officers, are able to defy the authorities and effectively run the prisons themselves, with most of those gangs being Black or Muslim in nature. 

The change in the "power dynamic" has led to a series of attacks against prison guards by assertive inmates and plummeting morale among prison officers, with the only recourse being strike action. 

Last week, 3 officers were assaulted in an attack at Fresnes prison, south of Paris, while on Sunday (21st), two prison guards needed hospital treatment after an attack at a detention centre at Longuenesse prison, near Calais.

"This is once again an attack on the staff, we cannot stand it anymore," a spokesman for the one of the trade unions representing prison officers said. "It's a daily thing."

In a final irony, riot police were called in to deal with prison officers who were burning tyres and attempting to block access to prisons. 

The striking prison officers want more staff and the total isolation of all radicalised Muslim prisoners. Last week they rejected the latest offer by the French government. 

In modern-day multicultural France, "safety issues" and "working conditions" is merely code for "Oh fuck! We allowed too many Third Worlders into our prviously functioning country."

Around 20,000 largely unwashed and stench-laden Leftist scum took to the streets of Vienna on Saturday (13th of January) to protest against the inclusion of the nationalistic Freedom Party in the new Austrian government. Luckily the protest had absolutely no effect and the Freedom Party remains firmly ensconced in government and able to exert its beneficial influence on the future of Austria against those who hate the country and its people.

Thanks to the party, which won a democratic mandate from the Austrian people by finishing second in the recent election, Austria is now part of a growing bloc of anti-immigration and Euroskeptic countries in the Central and Eastern Europe that is opposed to the anarchic globalist tendencies of the EU.

The vile protest by hate-filled Leftists and other dregs of society caused chaos and bad optics in what is considered to be one of the most beautiful cities in the World, as they bothered shoppers and site-seers with their slovenly appearance, badly made placards, and hateful anti-Austrian rhetoric and extremely tired memes. Disturbingly, they also used young children as "shields" for their nefarious activities, so that police would not be able to fire tear gas or plastic bullets to protect important property and lives.

Among the most tired memes deployed by the moronic Leftist protesters was calling everyone "Nazis" and comparing sensible attempts to round up roaming gangs of violent migrants to the concentration camps that were a common feature of the Soviet Union and other hateful Left-wing regimes.

Earlier this week, the Freedom Party's Herbert Kickl, who now controls the important Ministry of the Interior, won praise from all sensible people for suggesting that asylum seekers should be "concentrated" in secure accommodation.

This is because migrants are disproportionately involved in rapes and other crimes. 

Muggings and beatings are now commonplace in the historic capital city, with passersby being attacked on an almost daily basis.

Following the protest, Viennese sanitation workers probably earned overtime hosing the filth left by the Leftist scum off the streets.

WORLD VOICES TOKEN DISSENT BUT QUIETLY AGREES AFTER TRUMP CALLS HAITI A "SHITHOLE"

A shallow wave of mock outrage spread across the world today, followed by almost universal unspoken agreement, after President Trump accurately referred to Haiti, El Salvador, and some African countries as "shithole countries." 

The comments came in a meeting with a bipartisan group of senators at the White House, during a discussion of America's ridiculous visa lottery system that allows random people from dysfunctional, low-IQ, and badly toilet trained countries to come to America on green cards. 

The White House issued a statement that did not deny the remarks. In the past Trump has made equally disparaging remarks of Haiti. In 2007, he famously said Haitian immigrants "all have AIDS," which is not strictly true. 

Trump's latest comments are not exactly accurate either, as "shithole countries" implies that the countries in question are actually using improvised latrines to dispose of their faecal waste.

From evidence on the ground, there is no reason to believe this is actually happening in Haiti, where cholera is a pandemic and shit and other rotting garbage are everywhere, as shown by these images:

HERO NETANYAHU DEFENDS HIS ETHNOSTATE FROM AFRICANS

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu may have his troubles with an ongoing investigation into corruption, but he isn't losing sight of the big picture, namely protecting the Jewish ethnostate from 60,000 illegal African migrants who flooded into the country in the past few years. 

In a recent speech given at the first cabinet meeting of the new year, he outlined his vision of a racially pure Israel and talked about how this could be brought about, by offering the African migrants a plane ticket and a bribe of $3,500 to quit the country.

"Every country must guard its borders," Netanyahu said on Wednesday (3rd of January), announcing the plan. "Guarding the borders against illegal infiltration is both a right and a fundamental obligation of a sovereign state." 

The plan involves using the "carrot" of a bribe and plane ticket and the "stick" of incarceration in an Israeli prison. He also referred to the enormous success of Israel's border wall:

"This fence, which was erected along the border with Sinai, has prevented – in my estimation – the entry of hundreds of thousands of infiltrators who came from other places, but did not reach Israel. Thanks to this great effort, we have lowered illegal infiltration into Israel to zero."

Netanyahu has also reached an understanding with the home nations of the migrants, most of whom come from Eritrea and the Sudan, and has also done a deal with Rwanda to take others. Already, 20,000 Africans have been "deported. The new measures are to ensure that the rest follow, and Netanyahu won't rest until they are all gone.

"The mission now," he said, "is to deport the rest."

African immigration became an issue in 2012 when residents of Tel Aviv protested about the problems African migrants were bringing, including crime and vagrancy. 

The downside of this is that many of the migrants are expected to use the free plane ticket and money to move on to other countries, mainly in Western Europe, with cucked populations and weaker immigration laws.

GERMANY: TWO YEARS FROM RACIAL TIPPING POINT

Recent analysis by a top German academic has revealed that Germany is only a couple of years away from a key demographic tipping point that will see native Germans reduced to a despised and hated minority in their own country.

The analysis, carried out by Professor Adorjan F. Kovacs from the Goethe University in Frankfurt, was published under the title "Truths about the Refugee Crisis" (Wahrheiten zur Flüchtlingskrise) in the German version of The European magazine.

Professor Kovac's key finding involves the 20-to-30-year-old age group, which, he has calculated, will be minority White German within 4 years. This is due to the fact that migrants are almost exclusively in this age range, and that successful asylum applicants can be expected to bring in additional family members and then reproduce at higher rates than the native population:

“The fact that the majority of so-called asylum seekers are men, means that in almost all the cases, a successful bid for family reunification will be made. This will add between three and eight extra persons per successful asylum seeker, which means that by 2020 the total number of this group will be in excess of eight million. The fact that that are currently only 11.5 million European Germans in the 20-to30-year-old age group means that by 2020—just four years away—white Germans will be an outright minority in this age category."

Next, as older generations die off, this younger generation and its descendants will start to define the character of the overall population, leading to White Germans becoming an absolute minority within decades. 

"You have to think ahead 30 years. If the majority, that is, more than 50 percent of those now living in Germany are elderly, and will have died within that time, it takes no imagination to get an idea of the composition of the future German population."

POLISH AUTHORITIES SET UP "SAFETY ZONE" FOR WOMEN TO CELEBRATE NEW YEAR

Following the news that German cities have set up "safety zones" to prevent women being sexually attacked by Muslim migrants on New Year's Eve, Poland has responded by setting up its own "safety zone." This comprises the entire country, thanks to Poland's uncompromising stance on not accepting any Muslim refugees. 

The German "safety zones" were introduced after thousands of German women were sexually molested and raped by gangs of mainly Muslim men in Cologne and other German cities last year. 

Sadly these areas are extremely small, and still leave Muslim gangs with plenty of opportunities to molest and attack women out celebrating New Year in other locations, including the entrance and exit points of the German "safety zones."

IRAN CELEBRATES NEW YEAR WITH STREET PARTIES AND FIREWORKS

In a new sign of increasing liberalisation, the formerly strict Islamic state of Iran welcomed the New Year with large street parties in many cities, some of them accompanied by fireworks. 

Unfortunately, many Western news media organisations, now tragically understaffed, completely misunderstood what was going on and falsely reported demonstrations, uprisings, and riots aimed at overthrowing the entirely democratic government of President Rouhani. 

This led to awkward exchanges between US President Trump and Rouhani, after the American President tweeted his support for the revellers after mistaking them for paid colour revolution operatives of the American Deep State.

In a speech in Tehran, Rouhani hit back, saying the US president "has forgotten that he had called Iranian people 'terrorists' a few months ago."

Meanwhile in America, one policeman was killed and six others injured in what appears to be a genuine popular uprising against the Deep State controlled government of America.

NAIVE "MODERN WOMAN" BRINGS SHAME TO UK DIPLOMACY

British diplomats have fallen a long way since the days of Lord Palmerston, when their main job was to dress meticulously and march fearlessly into the courts of foreign potentates to tell them when the gunboats would arrive if Her Majesty's demands were not met. 

Now the modern UK diplomat is more likely to be a woman with purple hair, who conducts herself with all the decorum and gravity of someone on a Club 18-30 holiday. She may also get raped and then disposed of like a used condom by a swarthy Uber driver. 

This is what happened to Rebecca Dykes, a 30-year-old, working at the British embassy in Beirut, Lebanon. No doubt this youngish, single woman was sent to this dangerous Middle Eastern capital as an act of deliberate policy by the British government to push its crappy agenda of "sexual equality," because "women are just as good as men"™.

Posted there in January, she was due to fly home for the Christmas holidays on the 17th of December. But despite being in a dangerous Middle Eastern capital, where the idea of raping a White women is a common male fantasy, Dykes decided to go out boozing with friends the night before, dressed in a mini skirt.

Not surprisingly she was last seen getting into an Uber "taxi" around midnight, and later discovered dead with a rope around her neck and her clothing torn off. She had been raped and murdered by 29-year-old Uber driver Tarek Hawchieh, who had been working as a driver for only 10 days.

A Lebanese police source said:

"He said he found her pretty, wearing a short skirt…and so he decided to rape her as it would be easy as she was a foreigner."

Hawchieh, who appears to be a Lebanese Christian, had been allowed to become an Uber driver despite having served two prison sentences. 

Newspaper reports describe the killer as a 'troubled individual' with a drug habit, money problems, and a pregnant Ethiopian wife currently in prison for visa violations. He was also reported as having posted a picture of himself on Facebook performing a sex act with a fish. 

A statement from the family of the dead women leaned heavily on the usual cliches, describing her as: 

"...genuine, generous, and loving, as anyone who knew her would agree. She was intelligent, ambitious, and dedicated to her work. Becky had a love of travelling, and was passionate about helping people. She always wanted to make the world a better place."

Sadly it is not yet clear how being treated like a piece of disposable fuck meat by an unvetted Uber driver will improve the quality of the planet. One thing is sure, however, Britain's diplomatic standing will not be particularly burnished by this sad and tawdry little incident.

RAMSHACKLE US-BACKED AFGHAN GOVERNMENT ON BRINK OF COLLAPSE

The US war in Afghanistan (cost $2.4 trillion) continues to go badly. After revelations that the Taliban are actually winning on the ground and news that Trump is going to "win hearts and minds" by ordering more unrestricted bombing, comes the news that the US-backed government is basically falling apart.

"An Afghan faction which is a key partner of President Ashraf Ghani’s government has threatened his plan to fire a leading member of the party who has been a long-serving governor for northern Balkh province.

The development adds further to the already deepening political tension in the US-backed government while Taliban insurgents and Daesh affiliates make gains on the battlefield and with growing calls for convocation of a grand traditional assembly which may decide on the formation of an interim government and on the fate of US forces in Afghanistan."

The tiff involves the Jamiat-e-Islami party, which, as the name suggests, may not be as unsympathetic to the Taliban as one would expect from a US ally, and Afghani President Ashraf Ghani. Ghani is attempting to remove, Atta Mohammad Noor, the  governor of Balkh province, who is a member of Jamiat-e-Islami.

Ghani is an independent, non-party firgurehead, whose urbane manners and track record of working for the World Bank and the UN makes him an ideal tool for the globalists, but his power base in Afghanistan is extremely weak and narrow. 

In recent months he has been trying to build up his power base through crude nepostism and tribal politics, sparking opposition from others in the governing coalition, like the Jamiat-e-Islami party.

"Ghani has gradually reduced the role of Jamiat figures in recent months and in summer blocked the arrival of his first vice president General Abdul Rashid Dostum, another factional leader, to Balkh to announce the formation of an opposition alliance with Atta and another senior member of Ghani’s government.

Dostum lives in exile in Turkey for allegedly ordering the detention and sexual abuse of a political rival...

Dostum, Atta and many of those who had gathered in Kandahar accuse Ghani of power monopoly and nepotism. Ghani, who is under US and Western donors’ pressure for bringing reforms in his government, denies the allegations."

Don't ask me, but why would anyone be thinking of investing another cent in this shitshow, when this is what 2.4 trillion dollars got you?

MUZZIES MOBILIZE AGAINST ISRAEL AND ITS PUPPET TRUMP

The best way to harm the Jews is to actually give them what they want. This has become clear after Donald Trump made the astounding decision to recognise Jerusalem as the capital of Israel by announcing plans to move the US embassy there. 

While this has long been a goal of Zionists, it is one that is set to backfire for Israel -- and America -- after leaders from 57 Muslim nations met in Istanbul on Wednesday (13th December) to form a "new alliance" opposed to the move.

In a speech at the close of the meeting, Turkish President Recep Erdogan denounced Trump's decision as "not valid in our understanding, in our mentality and in our conscience."

"We are determined to protect and preserve the historical status and sanctity of Jerusalem," he added. 

The meeting also passed a resolution calling for Jerusalem to become the capital city of a future Palestinian state, while there was also general agreement that the US could no longer be seen as a mediator between the Israelis and Palestinians. 

The only surprising thing here is that it took them so long to realise this, as American politicians, bought and paid for by Jewish donations, have been entirely subservient to Israeli interests for decades.

As long as the Muslim world was divided and as long as America could pretend to be an impartial "honest broker," Israel's position -- located in the middle of a hostile civilisation -- was reasonably sustainable. 

But Trump's decision to move the US capital from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem undermines both of these factors by uniting the Muslims and making US bias towards Israel unmistakably clear. This will greatly empower countries like Russia and China in the Middle East, with Putin in particular gaining in status in the region, while America's star continues to fade.

Pro-Russian elements are practically rubbing their hands at this foolish decision by the Trump administration.

VENEZUELA SWITCHES TO FULL LEFTIST TYRANNY

The Leftist regime of President Nicolas Maduro in Venezuela has now banned opposition parties from running in the 2018 election. This completes the country's transition from  a semi-tyrannical state to a full Leftist tyranny.

Since leftists, led by former president Hugo Chavez, won elections in 1999, the oil-rich country has become increasingly impoverished and undemocratic, with the unpopular leftists finding increasingly underhanded ways to maintain their grip on power. 

In the latest twist, Stalin-look-a-like Madura has banned the main opposition parties from participating in next year's general election, using the fact that they boycotted municipal elections on the weekend as a flimsy excuse. 

"The opposition has disappeared from the political map,"Madura said in a speech on Sunday (10th December), responding to the opposition boycott. "A party that has not participated today and has called for the boycott of the elections can't participate anymore." 

The opposition parties refused to participate in the municipal elections in protest at what they saw as a biased and corrupt electoral system that favours Madura's United Socialist Party of Venezuela. 

Madura has also imprisoned opposition figures on false charges and set up a separate body -- the National Constituent Assembly -- to overrule the Venezuelan Parliament, in which the United Socialist Party of Venezuela was soundly defeated in the 2015  Parliamentary elections.

The big question now is what will the Trump administration do? Is Trump too distracted by his domestic problems, including ongoing Deep State attempts to undermine and impeach him, or will he see confronting Madura as a way to shake off his domestic problems? 

The fact is that deposing Madura, either through a US-backed coup or military intervention, presents the USA with an easy-to-win conflict in an oil rich state, unlike further military involvement in the Middle East.  

TRUMP'S RECOGNITION OF JERUSALEM AS CAPITAL UNDERMINES US POSITION IN MIDDLE EAST

Days after the Supreme Court upheld Donald Trump's "Muslim Ban," in a further blow for Muslims, it now looks almost certain that the US President will finally recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. 

This is a game-changer in the Middle East, as the US has long held off recognizing Jerusalem as the capital in order to maintain the thin pretense that it is an "honest broker" between the Israelis and the Arabs. 

Of course, it is nothing of the sort, being heavily biased towards Israel's interests, due to the massive amount of Jewish political donations in the US political system, as well as Jewish control and influence of the media. An additional reason is the philo-Semitism of many American Christian fundamentalists. 

What this effectively means is that the hope of one day peacefully resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is now dead and that the US is adopting a position of "to the winner the spoils." Several analysts believe this will only fuel conflict. 

By supporting Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, the US is also implicitly supporting the past and future ethnic cleansing of Muslims and Arabs from areas in and around what was once a majority Arab city. 

This is an interesting position for a US administration to take, as it is effectively a strong endorsement of an ethno-nationalist state and its conquests, which were, of course, carried out with substantial US aid and assistance. It is also a highly provocative act that threatens to alienate the wider Muslim world and could even prove counterproductive and harmful to the state of Israel and its US backer. 

The governments of major Muslim countries, like Turkey, Pakistan, and Egypt, that were prepared to work with the USA, will find this an extremely hard sell for their populace, and will look increasingly to Russia and China as a more suitable Middle Eastern hegemon. 

Turkey's President Recep Erdogan has already said that the US recognition of Jerusalem as the capital will be a red line for Muslims. Even the Gulf states, which are largely subordinate to US petrodollar interests, will find the move extremely uncomfortable.

This decision also comes at an odd time, as America's Middle Eastern position has become substantially weaker in recent years. In particular, the victory of President Assad in Syria, has created a "Shiite corridor" stretching all the way from Iran to the Lebanon, uniting several states and organizations that are strongly opposed to Zionist power, including Iran, the Assad government, and Hezbollah.

The Trump administration's anti-Arab action even threatens to bridge the main divide among Muslims, that between Sunnis and Shiites, something else that could gravely weaken the US position in the Middle East. 

The problems with what must frankly be called a diplomatic blunder, don't stop in the Middle East. They also extend to Europe, where states like Britain, France, and Germany, with large Muslim minorities, feel compelled to counter-signal the move in order to appease their Muslims and lessen the likelihood of terrorism.
